Cloud Expertise

When you turn to a hosted applications solution, it’s as though you suddenly have an entire staff of experts working for you—serving as an extension of your IT department and allowing your in-house team to focus on the other critical aspects of your infrastructure.

Leading Technology: Since hosted apps providers focus on their specific area of expertise, they can stay on top of the latest advances in their industry. They also have the resources to implement and maintain a variety of technologies to deliver the best in hosted applications.

Scalability:  When your company grows, your infrastructure must also grow even faster. Since OfficeOps has extensive hardware and software resources, we can scale your services smoothly and easily.

Automatic Backups & Easy Data Recovery:  Hosted application providers know that you have entrusted them with your invaluable data—so they design their systems to protect that data. They have the resources to implement exhaustive backup and data recovery systems.

Automatic Software Upgrades:  When you choose hosted apps, you don’t need to worry about downloading and installing software upgrades or security patches. Your system will always be up-to-date.

Reliable Access:  Hosted application providers are committed to providing a reliable uptime. They know that if servers go down, your productivity is down and you lose revenue. They must keep you satisfied, or risk losing your business.

Access Anywhere:  With hosted applications, you benefit from having a wide range of data access options. This flexibility helps your employees to be more productive, compared to employees who are limited to using only a specific computer or specific software.

No Setup or Maintenance:  When you turn to a hosted application solution, you immediately have a fully equipped, top-of-the-line system that will be continually updated and maintained. This saves you thousands of dollars in server hardware, software, upgrades, and the expertise to run it all.

Compliance with Federal Regulations:  Hosted application providers stay on top of the regulations so you don’t have to. They can provide the storage, compliance, and retrieval features needed for audits, legal requests, and other business needs. (Rackspace Security Policy)

Integration

While some businesses are able to satisfy their needs with a single business management or accounting system, this is often not the case. For many companies, a growing number of applications and systems are required to handle specific needs. Each of those applications likely consumes data from other systems and in turn creates data that is useful elsewhere. How do you “connect the dots?”

For instance, human resources may need employee information from the accounting system combined with data from your company’s time/punch clock software. Perhaps your online web store needs pricing and availability information from an inventory management system combined with marketing assets from your content management system (CMS). Do your company’s subsidiaries buy and sell goods between each other (intercompany trade) using different financial/ordering systems?

The information stored in these many applications does not need to remain trapped in their respective silos. If your software has a database or can import/export data files, chances are that OfficeOps can help you free that data and integrate it with your larger “information ecosystem.” Whether that means simply connecting two applications or implementing more complex rules-based workflows between multiple systems, we can help make that data more relevant and useful to your company. Additionally, doing so will most likely reduce the amount of time and energy your staff spends on data entry (and dealing with data entry errors).

OfficeOps has extensive experience in Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), allowing us to extract and transform data from a wide variety of sources such as XML data files, flat files, and relational data sources, and then load the data into one or more destinations. We can also solve complex business problems by copying or downloading files, sending e-mail messages in response to events, updating data warehouses, cleaning and mining data, and managing SQL Server data. We also have extensive experience with Extensible Style Sheet Transformation (XSLT) tools, which provide a high degree of flexibility when making any-to-any format data conversions.
